The final product looks like it came from the WWII era but performs to today’s durability standards.
Many modern sellers use powder coating to make the blade jet black, but this finish does not reflect the true look of the original V-42 Case Stiletto. Over time, powder coating starts to flake, fade, and degrade, making the dagger look worn and eventually useless. We avoid these shortcuts completely. Instead, we stay loyal to traditional finishing methods that give each dagger its authentic aged steel tone, just like those carried in real wartime conditions.
